This is an amazing time to be alive. Sure, it has its moments and swings out in every direction. But then what time didn’t? And it’s hard to imagine a more well-produced technicolor, sensaround, 4D experience than this.
We are living in a science fiction movie, the plot of which is so implausible most Hollywood studios would’ve turned it down flat.
And yes sometimes it makes you a little scared. Sometimes, it gives you such a thrill, it’s hard to contain. And sometimes you find yourself incredibly calm, serene and touched by the grace of it all.
For what we’re seeing is the Tao, the mother of all existence doing a birthing dance – she’s in labor, about to give birth to a new world, a new golden era for humanity, and what we’re seeing and feeling are the birthing contractions.
And if you’ve ever been or born witness to someone giving birth, you’ll know it hurts like hell but the result is so beautiful, inspires such an up-rush of unbridled love, that all pain is instantly forgotten.
And that’s, I propose/prophesy/prognosticate, how this will all turn out.
Once the screaming contractions have passed, once the eye-watering pushing is done, we’ll find ourselves in a state of such unbridled love we’ll hardly know how to contain it.
And all we have to do is get through the labor.
It’ll probably be a relatively long one, because it’s a big baby this, and just like any birth, it won’t be without its melodrama – and of course there’s always the danger the mother or child might die in childbirth.
But my hunch, my strongest hunch, is that it will all go well, and once the intensity of the birthing process is done, we’ll find ourselves in that blessed altered state, just as when a baby has been born.
So it would follow that to prepare for 2012 and all it may bring, the very best we can each do is tap into that deep wellspring of yin, the feminine energy within, for thence derives our strength and resilience to endure and come out the other side smiling.
We are privileged beyond description to be alive at this time.
We all chose to incarnate for it.
We were the fortunate ones to have gotten tickets for this sell-out show.
Let us not waste a single second of it, therefore, feeling sorry for ourselves, being immobilized by anxiety, or limiting our scope of action by cramping our own imaginations.
Keep your spirits high, grab this adventure and love it, live it and ride it for all its worth, in true supercharged style.
