Fighting spirit

Graced with the view of an implausible sunset off the coast of Ibiza, having just had a flutter on the mike in Hofer66’s show at Sonica Radio and now back at my friend Jay The Leader’s what can only be described as a palace, I find myself admiring the fighting spirit of those who party defiantly as the world all about goes through its transition on all levels.

I’d felt the vibrations of a coming earthquake on the Atlantic plate a week ago and told the people at the retreat I was running in Italy. We all have that sensitivity in our feet if we override the noise coming off the thoughts in the forebrain enough to feel what’s going on beneath our feet.

It’s a trick I learned from the Native Americans when I lived in Taos, New Mexico many years ago – the sky will talk to you and tell you what the weather will do and the earth will talk to you and tell you what the tectonic plates are going to do, if you quieten down enough to listen.

Meantime, I wish everyone affected through any trauma swiftly.

The theme of most conversations round here – paradoxical in the context of the hedonistic bent of the island – is the world and what’s happening, whether it’s coming to an end, whether we’re about to transmute to the incorporeal state, whether things will merely bump along in their own random way and so on.

The way it seems to me is, whatever the outcome, the time has come for us to join together in a different way now – in response to the Aquarian Age’s requirement to collaborate and cooperate rather than compete and dominate. Not even just because it’s the only sensible way to go if we’re to stand any chance of pulling through the storm that’s on its way, but because it’s a lot easier on the soul.

Easy on the soul is the best way to take this adventure – and to train ourselves to stop taking ourselves so personally. We’re all just beautiful flowers in the garden, here to make the world sweeter and more soothing for everyone. There’s nothing personal in it. Strip away all the layers you’ve constructed around the newborn baby you once were and you realize the entire construct you normally know as you, is merely a collection of habits.

That within which never dies is not a habit however, and is no more personal than a beautiful flower in the garden.

I’ve a million other thoughts I could share with you but just wanted to say hello from the rarefied state and location I find myself in today perchance, as for some reason hundreds of people have just joined the site today – so welcome and bless you.

I’ll be back with more of a sensible bulletin shortly.

With love, BD
