Following the Tao we act as receiving dishes, constantly downloading information coming through from the Great Flow, running it through our particular set of filters and then transmitting it to our everyday minds in order to do something useful and creative with it, invariably involving at some stage, sharing it with others for their potential enrichment.
So I approach this very first Supercharged Blog in the humble spirit of unknowing – not knowing what I’ll say, yet knowing that whatever it is, it will be supercharged.
Intention and letting go
It will be supercharged because, having initially intended it be so, I’ve relaxed and expanded the channel to accommodate a greater throughput, opened the filters as wide as I can to increase clarity and am allowing the stream without clamping or cramping it with the self-conscious aspect of my mind (merely a property of the relatively superficial competitive personality, deriving from the Greek: persona, meaning mask).
Whenever you unmask and let the flow pass through you freely, you are facilitating a supercharged flow, which you can then apply to whatever you focus on with good effect .
The Tao is supercharged. It is us who limit its fuel-inject effect in our individual spheres of experience.
Fundamentally, individuation is illusory.
Just one consciousness
I was once sitting with my teacher and friend, RD Laing, telling him about the intricate complex of thought-loops revolving in my mind, Monologue done, he looked up at me quizzically with one eyebrow raised, as was his wont much of the time with me, asked simply, “How do you know it’s your mind?”, got up and walked out of the room.
We are all one consciousness and that consciousness is the Tao, Consciousness, the Background Presence, the Great Flow: Love.
We co-create this fantastically convincing illusion of being individuals and all agree to uphold it for ourselves and each other, yet beneath the surface of this collectively facilitated meta-masquerade, we are all merely aspects, nexuses, echoes, nuances, whispers of the one consciousness.
Celebration
It is in celebration of the unprecedented opportunity for us all to be united now in one collective consciousness called love, that I inaugurate this very first ever Supercharged Blog., at which I cordially invite your considered comments and so co-facilitate a new conversation for everyone’s potential benefit.
