High-Speed Dancing

The Tao’s geisha

Continuing the theme of observing and feeling the marvel and mayhem of accelerating change in consciousness affecting us all at this time, it behoves me to say, fuck me, what a time this has been. And I don’t merely use the word to shock, though heaven knows why it would still actually shock anyone, but somehow to insinuate the sense of being the receptive party in a love tryst with the Tao, which I know makes no sense as the Tao is purported to be feminine, the Mother of all Existence, and I’m unquestionably male, albeit veering towards the feminine, at least in my intuitive appreciation of the world and its ways, so maybe a vaguely incestuous, lesbian affair, with me as an honorary sister, daughter, partner, geisha girl (hence why the club I used to run in London was called Barefoot Doctor’s Geisha Palace).

Riding the waltzer

For it’s as if I give the Tao the come-on, invite her to manifest as this or that for me and that immediately sets in motion a mad twirl at high speed around the floor, her leading all the way, finally, her taking me back to my table, saying thanks for dance and then waltzing off with whomever needs her most next, presumably partly to give me time to catch my breath before the next twirl.

And there’s absolutely no point attempting to figure any of it out, in terms of the dance steps of how or when anything will happen, or even what will happen. It’s enough to witness how whatever it was I asked for comes to me in the fullness of time, providing I don’t put anything on hold for it and carry on as I was regardless in a state of absolute trust.

At your service

Furthermore that the more frequently I reposition myself in the role of servant of the divine in its earthly manifestation of others in general, as opposed to focusing on any egocentric agendas of my own making, the more I place myself at the service of whichever situation presents itself, the more easily and enjoyably the time passes and the more well rounded and globally satisfying are the results.

Flow to grow/grow to flow

Naturally this doesn’t preclude recurring moments of existential pain or disarray – to the contrary, these are evidently essential for the process of dream-realization to progress, representing, highlighting and occurring through resistance to opening ever-wider as a channel of the divine flow.

The more supple and yielding I can be to both the internal and external forces flowing through me and my life, the greater the capacity to channel the Tao and the less is the pain of the stretch required for such continued growth.

In short reporting from the coal face of the reality game, so far I definitely stand by my assertion that to set in motion a broad-based intention to manifest any particular life-scenario and then to relax into the ensuing spontaneous change in the flow of events, holding fast to trust all the while, especially in the face of apparent set-backs or obstacles, is to eventually, in the fullness of time, bear witness to its full exegesis and exposition – you get what you wanted, in other words.

Trust, trust, trust

But the key is to keep giving the Tao ample space in which to operate, by maintaining the willingness to keep trusting it, hence not cramping it with your fears and limited vsiio, precisely when you’d be inclined to doubt your good sense, or even sanity, in doing so.

I don’t know if you’re familiar with my main site, www.barefootdoctorworld.com and this is not to cynically plug, but respectfully and hopefully, helpfully point out, that the main reason I started that huge beast of a paying members’ site, was to have a venue for a weekly column, one in which people could make requests for topics covered and could also then vote for the title they wanted each week. The game then would be and still is, that a certain point in the week, usually a Tuesday or Wednesday, I check which title won and immediately start writing it without any preplanning or contrivance. And these undoubtedly comprise some of the best articles I write. The one this week, ‘How to manifest an obstacle-free path ahead’, is particularly pertinent to the above, which is why I’m mentioning it and I suspect would be extremely helpful if you’re riveted by the manifesting process too. You’d probably also find the PURE BAREFOOT audio meditations set to beats, I put out there once a week rather scintillating and balancing too, not to mention the live weekly meditations in the MEDITATION CHAMBER. For though I say this is not a cynical plug, I am rather proud of the work I do on that site and rarely ever mention it, which is a bit remiss of me, as it’s important letting people now in case they’d find it useful - I’m at that blessed and well-earned stage in my career now, where I no longer have to sell, I merely have to serve and all else is added.

Which brings me back full circle.

How shall we serve today, dear Reader?

Let that be our question – and let’s see what shapes up as a result.

I’d be interested to see your comments.
