Astronomically referenced mythology that’s held the world in thrall for too long now
Even such profound concepts as death and rebirth acquire a patina of banality when bandied about in excess. I first pointed out at the start of the decade in the Observer how it could be helpful to use the symbolism of the
just-gone-by Easter passage as a spur to internally enact a personal crucifixion-resurrection process. This because the original observation of Sirius B apparently dropping out of its orbit around Sirius A for a couple of days at this juncture in the annual cycle, upon which the ancient Egyptians pinned the myth of Isis and Osiris, which later transmuted into the Mary and Jesus myth, when the Romans adopted Christianity and which now somehow finds its expression in hunting for eggs and wishing everyone merry Easter, indicates there’s something in the subtle interstellar magnetic field which encourages a sense of death and renewal at this time.
Easter, incidentally, derives from the ancient Babylonian name for Isis (or Sirius A): Ishtar.
Banality causes numbness
Ever since I mentioned it more and more people have jumped on the Easter-time crucifixion-resurrection notion-bandwagon each year until now, it’s almost part of the wallpaper of the everyday Easter-time trance.
But just in case it resonates more deeply with the pattern of your own thinking, this is a fine time to list those aspects of self and of your life, you’d like to hereby relinquish or demote to a less prominent role and then to list those qualities, attributes, skills, talents, situations you’d like to induct into your reality.
Wake up
Simply knowing what you want (and by, extension, don’t want – and vice versa), it starts the spontaneous manifesting ball rolling.
However, as you’ve probably discovered, this extremely simple thing: knowing what you want, is not necessarily that easy.
For amidst the jumble of desires and fears the mind gets confused and the essential self’s yearnings become obscured.
So instead of driving yourself to determine specifics, simply outline the broad-based intention, which presumably would be to relinquish all mind-sets, physical patterns, habits and situations that no longer serve you, which hold you back or limit you in any way, and instead accentuate, develop, manifest and bring to the fore those mind-sets, physical patterns, habits and situations that will serve you better and encourage healthy growth and fulfilment of potential, while benefitting all those involved in your reality.
See that and intend that clearly, just for one moment and the spontaneous manifesting process is initiated.
Invest
This requires taking but a few minutes out of your schedule and away from your locally referenced thoughts, which in itself is like breaking an addiction, but the benefits, which will begin unfolding and accelerate over the next 30 to 90 days, are well worth this miniscule investment of energy and attention.
If you really can’t face facing it, however, try intending the following and see what happens with reality: relinquish self-criticism and adopt self-encouragement – do so without exception – so no matter how badly you assume yourself to be performing, only focus in on the positive aspects of your performance and acknowledge and encourage yourself for and towards them.
Only say kind things to yourself in other words.
If you can master this for just a day, your whole life will be radically transformed.
Sitting gazing out from the coastline of Ibiza at the silver-blue sky reflecting off the mirrored surface of the sea, I see it all comes down to breathing in and out – or in this instance the reverse – exhaling to release the old, inhaling to activate the new.
Here’s to the new, sparkling, glorious, magnificent and unprecedented reality we’re creating.
With love, Supercharged
