Organizing your thoughts

An enlightened, internally referenced approach

tree-behind-barefootOrganizing carries an intrinsic hint of intervention, however as the word’s root implies, the optimal approach is to encourage the thoughts to order themselves organically, rather than through forcing them into place.

So rather than attempt to round them all up like stray cattle, the supercharged way is to gather yourself in the midst of them and invite them to organize themselves around you. They invariably do so once they receive the invite.

This is done by drawing the point from which you’re observing your inner landscape along with all its constituents, into the midbrain region, similarly to how a good squash or racket ball player remains fairly constantly in the centre of the court in order to be able to field all the shots with relative ease.

And to anchor this vantage point to the heart below and then to anchor the heart to the lower abdominal and pelvic region, in order to imbue thinking with love and give strength and rootedness to the love, respectively.

Changing mind-modes

You’ll notice, if following this actively while reading, how it momentarily cuts out the normal locally-referenced, egocentric agenda-based thinking mode altogether, leaving you, if only very briefly, in a state of pure consciousness.

Accessing this state for a moment is all that’s needed for the stray cattle of your mind to instinctively find their way home and so form a viable enough shape with which to order your worldview.

Once having achieved the pure state, you’re then able to contemplate what’s troubling you – those areas of your perceived reality which have been irking or stressing you – with the clarity of the sage.

As you do so, you’ll notice these perceived events cease to loom so large, are now quite small, in fact and hence much more manageable for the mind – now it’s you who presides over your inner landscape, rather than vice versa.

MInd-focus exercise

And to hone the focusing ability now in order to concentrate on the task at hand and so accomplish enormous amounts in a supercharged fashion, simply draw the fingers and thumb of the dominant hand together to form a point and hold this point, the apex, directly in line with your eyes about one watermelon’s distance away. Then gaze gently yet firmly at the apex, imagining you can feel or actually feeling the two-way stream of chi occurring between apex and eyes.

Hold the position, with shoulders relaxed and breath flowing slowly for the count of nine extra-slow breaths and then slowly drop the hand, let your body and chi settle and carry on as you were.

You’ll notice, having done all this, that within no more than ten minutes, your focusing ability has improved notably.

Mental focus, memory, visualization and insightfulness skills will comprise the nuts of a specific course I’ll devise and construct here in the fullness of time.

I hope this serves you well, meanwhile.

With love and deep clarity, Supercharged

Accessing the pure-consciousness state for a moment or two is all that’s needed for the stray cattle of your mind to instinctively find their way home and so form a viable enough shape with which to order your worldview.
